PUBLICATION NEWS!
I’ve loved comics and cartooning my entire life. As a child, I saw as pure magic the humor, sweetness, and utter emotional gut-punch that could be achieved through a character by Charles Schulz. I learned famous symphonies by way of Bugs Bunny, and that the rules of physics could be completely disregarded by Goofy. I spent nearly every waking moment doodling and daydreaming about becoming a cartoonist. I studied art and animation in college, but as I grew up with the comics medium, I discovered the more adult-centric genre of graphic novels by artists like Craig Thompson and Eleanor Davis: so art-forward, poignant, funny and cinematic! It’s this—the literal merging of drawing and writing—I hope to be part of my life’s work, too. Please see a sampling of my work below, and contact me if you’d like to work together on your own comic vision! Cheers!
