This large piece is inspired by the great David Bowie, the epitome of fashion, style and individuality. I wanted to show how someone like Bowie influences the world with style, shown by checkers emanating from his jacket into the ether around him. This painting also has iridescence in his shades, nails, and some of the white squares for extra zhuzh.
