Legs for Miles

This piece is a dedication to my dog, Miles, who had passed away a few months prior to this painting. Boy, could he lounge! I wanted to capture the unique geometry of his legs splaying and the flat perspective of looking at his soulful face from across his favorite place: our long sofa. The bottom half is collaged tissue paper to replicate the blanket he laid on.
